The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship is awarded to college students who intend to pursue research careers in the fields of science, mathematics, and engineering.
Public Policy and International Affairs Program (PPIA)
A fully-funded fellowship program that provides training and support for students pursuing graduate school in public policy, international affairs, public administration, or a related field. Students participate in a Junior Summer Institute (JSI), a seven-week summer program of classes and co-curricular activities.
Critical Language Scholarship (CLS)
The CLS is a program of the U.S. Department of State. It offers intensive summer language institutes in 13 critical foreign languages.

National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP)
The GRFP is the biggest nationally competitive fellowship in the United States. It provides support to graduate students who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. Fellows receive a three-year annual stipend and a cost of education allowance for tuition and fees. Further, they have access to opportunities for professional development available to NSF-supported graduate students.
